Barcelos is a city rich of history where is possible still today appreciate testimonies of admirable dones that happened in the secular streets, elegant buildings, manors, churches and in the imprisonment towers.

The name Mystery was the nickname given to the father (Domingos Gonçalves) of the current owners of the workshop. This name ended for identifying a family workshop, what was very frequent to happen in the nuclei potters' of Barcelos tradition, once this art was transmitted through the generations. At present work at the workshop Domingos Gonçalves wife that calls her Virgínia Coelho Esteves and your sons Manuel and Francisco. |
